Rick's Diner

During our vacation to Palm Springs, there's a restaurant right next to Palm Court Inn called Rick's. That cold and windy Sunday morning, we went to Rick's for breakfast. We had planned for a whole day of touring and decided on a heavy breakfast. And boy was it heavy!

Picture this - a generous load of strawberries and whipped cream served on a warm waffle (about 8"). Yes, it's called waffle with strawberries. I can still sniff the aroma of the freshly made waffle. The strawberries were sweet and juicy, simply divine. The creamy yet light texture of the whipped cream blended in lusciously with the strawberries, simply heavenly! The waffle was a tad salty which complemented the sweet taste of the strawberries and whipped cream. The fluffy waffle melts in the mouth with each bite.
